Sugarbush Sanctuary: 2 miles to Lincoln Peak

Four bedrooms comfortably sleep up to eight. The main-floor Primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom. The two upstairs bedrooms each have queen beds, and there is a loft over the kitchen with a twin bed and a pull-out sofa.

The open floor plan is anchored by a chef's dream kitchen: The cooking surface is in the center island, facing into the rest of the space so you can entertain while you cook (or be entertained by the cook). There's a wine fridge on the outside of the island for easy access to keep the chef's glass full -- it's the least you could do, besides the dishes of course.

Next stop on the open floor plan is a Dining Area centered on a roomy, 8-person farm table. On the opposite end from the kitchen, the Living Area features a gas fueled stove on one side and a large, wall-mounted flat screen TV on the other.

Lincoln Peak is a two minute drive. Mt Ellen is maybe 10. Take the backroads to Warren Village, Warren Falls or head north on Rt 100 towards Stowe ( 45 minutes) or south towards Killington ( 1 hour).
