1BR+Loft Mountainside Condo at Lincoln Peak

This tastefully updated two-level condo is on the top floor of a Mountainside building at Sugarbush's Lincoln Peak. A propane fireplace warms the living room, and a spiral stair climbs to a loft bedroom. The condo comfortably sleeps four in two queen beds. The kitchen has an electric range, a dishwasher and a microwave, and the dining table seats four.

In summer the Mountainside pool opens, and the Mad River Valley's trails and swimming holes are a short drive.

The front door opens onto the main level, where the kitchen, dining area, and then the living area share an open floor plan. Natural light fills the living room through a wall of windows and a sliding door to the balcony. A leather sectional and a recliner face the propane fireplace and the TV. The kitchen has an electric range, a dishwasher, a microwave and a refrigerator, and the dining table seats four.

The main-level bedroom has a queen bed, a dresser and a window onto the trees. The bathroom has a tub and shower. The Wifi is fast and stable.

A spiral stair rises to the loft bedroom: a queen bed under the sloped ceiling, a ceiling fan, and a half-wall that opens to the living room below. Sleeps four, two in each queen.

Mountainside is in Sugarbush Village, on the Lincoln Peak side of Sugarbush. The Lincoln Peak base — the lifts and the Castlerock Pub — is just down the hill. Warren village, with the Warren Store and the Pitcher Inn, is 5 minutes by car. Waitsfield's restaurants and breweries are 15. Mad River Glen is 15 minutes north on Route 17, and Warren Falls, the swimming hole on the Mad River off of Rt 100, is 10.
